Gary L. Jones

Gary L. Jones, age 69 of Washington, passed away May 5, 2015 at 1:15 p.m. at his residence. He was born August 3, 1945 in Washington to Acel A. Jones and Catherine (McIntire) Jones. Gary was a 1963 Washington High School graduate. He loved fishing, camping, and hunting. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, IU, and Washington Hatchets. He retired from CSX Railroad. Gary is survived by his wife Diane F. (Boger) Jones who he married July 11, 1990, his mother and step-father, Catherine and William Ed Taylor of Washington, children; Angela (Joe) Clauss, Shelley (Pete) Ryan, Chris (Pam) Jones, Jason (Charlotte) Jones, Jarrod (Hayley) Kohn, grandchildren; Nicholas Clauss "Nick", Catherine Wilson "Katie", Shawn Ryan, Conner Jones, Zach Westfall, Brianna Westfall, Logan Jones, Darian Jones, Jayven Jones, and one great-granddaughter, Avree Westfall. He was preceded in death by a son, Casey Lee Jones, August 11, 1988 - April 1990. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Entombment will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4 - 8 pm and Saturday from 9 - 11 am at Ed Lee Mortuary.[more]
