Mary Margaret "Mag" (Bullock) Beasley, age 93, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:45 a.m. at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was lovingly known as "Mag"and "Mamaw Beas". She was born May 3, 1921 in Daviess County to Julia (Lents) and Roy Bullock. She married John Alden Beasley on February 2, 1946. He passed away November 2009.She was a 1940 graduate of Montgomery High School. She was member of St. Joseph''s Catholic Church in Bramble and the Raglesville Ladies Homemakers Club. She worked at NAD Crane during WWII and after marriage became a homemaker and mother. Surviving are sons, David Beasley, and Mark (Melody) Beasley all of Odon, a daughter Diana (Darrell) Byers of Bloomfield, surviving grandchildren include Michelle (Scott) Helms, Lorie (Frank) Lorenz, Johnathan (Mandy) Britton, Adriane (Roger) Callahan and Meredith (Brandon) Firestone. Surviving step grandchildren include Aaron (Myra) Byers, Michelle (Russell) Brown and Nicole (Derrick) Tennant. nd a Firestone baby due in September. Surviving step Great Grandchildren include Abby Hamm, Kristen, Russell and Alexis Brown, Dalton and Kaitlyn Byers, Miles and Nora Tennant. Mag leaves one surviving brother, Delbert Bullock; two brothers-in-laws, Calvin (Betty) Beasley and Ronald (Diane) Beasley. Five sister-in laws, Camilla Overton, Bernice Bullock, Coy Beasley, Dixie Beasley and Norberta Bullock. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son Robert Eugene Beasley, two brothers, Donald Bullock, Robert Bullock and one sister, Helen Louise McAtee. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday February 24, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble with Deacon Michael Jones and Robert Consley officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm. Sunday at the First Christian Church in Odon and on Monday 9 am till 10 a St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble.
