Troy Moyes

Troy Moyes, age 61, of Washington, passed away on January 28, 2016 at 6:05 p.m. at his home with his sweetheart by his side after losing a year- long battle with cancer. He was born March 5, 1954 in Washington to Carl and Margaret (Miller) Moyes. He was a 1972 Washington High School graduate and a graduate of Vincennes University in 1974. Troy was Vice-President of Production at Indiana Steel and Engineering. Troy loved the outdoors and was a past chairman and co-chairman for Ducks Unlimited. He was an avid duck and goose hunter as well. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Wilcox/Armstrong) Moyes, whom he married on December 29, 1991, his daughters; Trina (James) Burton, Angie (Adam) Auvil both of Indianapolis, a son, Brian (Daisy) Moyes of Washington as well as step-daughters; Jane (Rick) Seidel, Jennifer Armstrong, step-son, Joe (Teresa) Armstrong of Washington, a brother, Nelson (Patty) Moyes of Florida and a sister, Jennifer (Tom) Underwood of Washington, grandchildren; Dylan Seidel, Tyler Seidel, Madison Seidel, Hazel Rodimel, Kennedi Andrews, Reese Armstrong, Kassie Knox, Gage Knox, Hunter Moyes, Ava Auvil, and Emma Auvil.
