Agnes Rita Worland
Agnes Rita (Healy) Worland, age 85, of Washington, passed away on Thursday at 9:30 PM at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on March 20, 1925 to William A. and Laveda (Norris) Healy. She graduated from of Washington Catholic High School in 1943 and in 1946 from St Mary's School of Nursing. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She is survived by seven sons and daughters in-law, Daniel J. Worland of Evansville, William C. and Barb Worland of Brownsburg, Michael J. and Bonnie Worland of Huntingburg, Steven P. and Donna Worland, Mark A. and Pam Worland, and David and Madonna Worland all of Washington, and Philip J. and Jeri Worland of Brownsburg; one brother, James F. She was also preceded in death her parents, two brothers, Delmar Healy and William Healy; and two sisters, Edna M. Jackson, and Rosemary Malloy A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Ryan Hilderbrand as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 AM on Monday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
