Her prison ministry was especially important to her and she made a difference in the lives of many. She volunteered through RSVP and worked with Feed My Sheep, served on the board of the Daviess County Mental Health Association and worked with the Daviess County Adult Literacy Committee. She was active in the local Ministerial Association. She is survived by her daughter, Beverlyann Embry, and granddaughter, Serenity Eaves of Indianapolis; brothers Frederic (Fritz) Johnson & wife of Florida; William (Billy) Wilson & wife Linda of New Jersey;, nieces, Martha Johnson, Margaret Johnson, Jennifer Wilson, nephews William (Billy) Wilson and wife Marie, Michael Wilson & wife Jenifer. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Ed Lee Mortuary,101 North Meridian St. in Washington, at 1:00 pm. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am until time of service. Internment will be at the Hawkins Cemetery.
