Shirley J. (Frerick) Lewandowski, age 71 ,of Washington, passed away at 5:45 PM on Friday at her home. She was born June 21, 1943 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Beatta (Blood) and William Frerich. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1961. She married John Lewandowski in Little Falls, MN June 29, 1963. She worked at West Chicago Lake State Bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also worked at Arnold''s Red & White, Knuckles BBQ, Daviess Community Hospital and owned Shirley''s Deli & Catering. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Shirley also bowled on the Welcome Wagon League. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister, Rose Ann Armstrong, brothers, Arlin Frerich, Roland Frerich, Eugene, Frerich, and Willis Frerich, and a son, Mark Lewandowski. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Washington.
