Viola M. Cissell, 64, was called to heaven at 10:15 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 with her family by her side at St. Charles Health Campus, Jasper. Viola was born October 17, 1949 to Mary and Eugene Perrott in Vincennes and then moved to Washington. Viola was a shy, quiet girl with dreams of a family. She married Wilber Cissell on July 14, 1967. Viola was a homemaker until she started working at Prairie Village Living Center and then worked up to head cook at Daviess Community Hospital where she retired in 2004. She was a member of the Vincennes Avenue Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed her family, reading and cooking. Viola is survived by two daughters and their spouses; Pamela Kay Cissell (Marshall Johnson) of Jasper and Brenda Sue Mack (Crosswell Boothe) of Bicknell. She had four grandchildren; Katrina, Justine, Chandra and Makayla and three great-grandchildren; Khianna, Avihanna, and Jazalea. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services for Viola Cissell will be Wednesday, July23rd at Ed Lee Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 11:30 on Wednesday prior to funeral services.
