Robert G. Ainsworth, age 68, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 12:45 am at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Evangeline (Grear) Ainsworth. He retired from Essex Wire where he worked as a wire mill operator. He is survived by his son Robert G. (Erin) Ainsworth, Jr. of Bloomington; grandchildren, Brianna Ainsworth, Noah Ainsworth and Maci Ainsworth; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Kim and Chester Woroszylo, Paul & Melissa Horton, Harold Horton, Barbara Horton, Diana Westers and Billy Horton. He was preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn (Horton) Ainsworth in 2006 and his second wife, Winifred (Horton) Ainsworth in 2009. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Randall Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Paxton, Indiana.
