Delbert William Mundy

Delbert "Bill" Mundy, age 79 of Washington, was called home to meet his Lord surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born November 9, 1935 in Bicknell to Delbert and Beulah (Beaman) Mundy. Bill was a US Marine Veteran. He married Jane (Wininger) Mundy on October 14, 1961 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons; Keith (Sherri) Mundy of Florence, Kentucky, Greg (Lori) Mundy of Washington, five grandchildren; Brandon Mundy, Audra Mundy, Michael Mundy, Amber Garcia, Rebecca Criswell, two great-grandchildren; Harmony Garcia and Lyric Garcia, two brothers; Don (Linda) Mundy, Gary (Lynn) Mundy both of Bicknell, brother-in-law, John Albrecht from Washington and brother-in-law and brother-in-law, David (Wilma) Wininger of Bicknell. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Nancy (John) Albrecht. Bill was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and strong in his faith. Bill and Jane owned and operated H & R Block in Washington and Petersburg for the last 31 years and worked for them for 41 years.
