Arthur "Duke" T. Rose
Arthur “Duke” T. Rose, age 80, of Washington passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Evansville.
Arthur was born on May 22, 1939 in Washington and raised by Martha (Raney) and Thomas Wilson. He Graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1957. He was in the Indiana National Guard. Arthur worked at McCord Corporation and retired from Superior Steel Ball. He was an avid Cubs fan and Chicago Bears fan. He also loved to go fishing at Marblehead in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Connie (Harger) Rose of Washington; daughters Angela K. Martin and her husband Phillip of Greenwood, Penny Sue Rose and Alice E. Rose both of Washington and grandchildren Alexandra (Alexander) Csiernik of McCordsville, Michael Rose and Madeline Rose both of Washington.
He is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel with Father Juan Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel.
