Clare M. Wickman, 94 age , of Washington, passed away at 11:50 PM on Tuesday at her home She was born on October 14, 1921 in Daviess County to Alban and Mary (Matthews) Hopkins. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Montgomery High School class of 1940. She is survived by her children, Charles (Roberta) Wickman of Washington, Edward (Kathleen) Wickman of Indianapolis, Dennis (Debra) Wickman of Jaspr,, Michael (Sheryl)Wickman of St. Louis, Missouri, Margaret (Kenton) Allison of Washington, Mark (Linda) Wickman of Loogootee, Lucille (Brandley)McCracken of Evansville, and Carol Grise of Columbus; sisters, Theresa Guthrie of Martinsville and Mary Margaret Hopkins of Sydney, Australia; 20 grandchildren; and twenty five great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Wickman on November 26, 2006 whom she had married on March 6, 1943. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Veronica Hopkins and Rosalia Cannon; four brothers, Joseph Hopkins, Paul Hopkins, Hurbert Hopkins, and Thomas Hopkins.
