Ernie had gorgeous penmanship, impeccable organization skills and memory, and kept a dedicated journal of all her travels and experiences. She was very involved in her community, in such organizations as Tri Kappa Sorority, Caring and Sharing, Welcome Wagon, Washington Country Club Ladies Golf League, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, and enjoyed a monthly wine and cheese afternoon with her dearest lady friends. Memorial contributions can be made to the Catholic Community of Washington, Daviess Community Hospital Foundation, and the Washington Country Club Ladies Golf Association. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church from 4 to 8 PM with a Tri Kappa Sorority memorial service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be from 8:00 to 9:45 AM at the church. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Our Lady Of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
