Norma "Jean" Foster, age 90, of Washington, passed away at 6 am today at her home. She was born February 21, 1922 in Daviess County. She was the daughter of Ray and Mabel (Swords) King. She was a housewife and avid quilter. She attended Longfellow School in Washington. She was also a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters and one son in-law, Sally Ann Harris of Hartford, Ky. and Nancy Ruth and Bill Singleton of Washington; one brother Ray King Jr. of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Foster on November 17, 2006, whom she had married on September 17, 1941. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles King; one sister Betty Ruth Vandever; and one son in-law, Frank Harris. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Condolences may be sent online at www.edleemortuary.com.[more]
