Stephen Foster Lee

Stephen Lee, age 77 passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital.

Stephen was born September 22, 1942 in Washington to Alonzo “Lon” Lee and Rose (Foster) Lee. He graduated from Washington High School in 1960. He retired after 36 years of working at the Washington Indiana Post Office and 6 years with Med Xpress. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Stephen was a veteran of the U.S Navy and loved to travel. He loved his Dobermans.

He is survived by a daughter Tammy (David)Wallace of Newburgh; sister Joyce Lee of Washington; grandchildren Whitney Lee of Greenwood, Alissa Lee of Bloomfield, Britney Brown of Chandler , and Andrew Wallace of Newburgh and great-grandchildren Jacob Wallace, Emalee Brown, Caleb Brown, Addison Wallace, Harley Resler and Weston Middleton.

Stephen is preceded in death by his wife Donna (Steele) Lee who he married May 26, 1962; his parents; son Stephen Lee; sister Carolyn Lee and granddaughter Lauren Wallace.

hington, Indiana. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel with Pastor Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with Military Rites.
