He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Margaret (Ryan) Montgomery whom he married January 5, 1946 in St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery; one step daughter, Adele (Christie) Burns; 6 brothers, Carl, Leo, Paul, Bernard, Thurman, and Vetus Montgomery; and two sisters, Bernadette Montgomery and Loretta Jones. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday at St Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble with Father Joseph Erbacher as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Ed Lee Mortuary on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM and on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:45 AM at the Church.
