James A. Neff

James A. Neff, age 80, of Washington, passed away at 3:45 PM on Wednesday at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1932 in Washington to O.D. 'Dutch' and Audrey (Rollison) Neff. He was a 1950 Graduate of Washington High School as was a US Army Veteran. He owned and operated O. D. Neff Inc. a Buick and Pontiac Dealership in Washington. He graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan and was a member of the Washington Free Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Kieffner) Neff; two daughters, Nancy A. (Milton) Roberts of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Cheryl J. Neff of Springfield, Illinois; one son, Michael J. Neff of Washington; five grandchildren, Kasey Neff, Reid Neff, Madison Roberts, Morgan Roberts, and Alexa Neff; one sister, Nona Oesterle of Arizona; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Neff on August 31, 2000. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the Free Methodist Church on Troy Road in Washington with Rev. Wayne Neely officiating. Entombment will be in the Sugarland Mausoleum. Military entombment rites will be conducted by Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from ...[more]
