James Donald Parker, age 86, of Washington, passed away on Sunday in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on November 11, 1926 in Pike County, Indiana to James Franklin and Laura V. (Thomas) Parker. He was a 1945 graduate of Montgomery High School as a US Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Marie Soto of Wichita Kansas, Billie K. Young of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and Laura Dawn Holt of Pell Lake, Wisconsin; four sons, Mark Anthony Parker of Port Orchard, Washington, Kevin Thomas Parker, James Dean Parker and Kevin Ray Young all of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; one brother Richard Parker of Fox Lake, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith Ann Kleiman. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany cemetery with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from 10 AM till 1 PM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary.[more]
