Betty Nalker

Betty L. Nalker age 65 of Plainville passed away at 7:52 AM on Sunday at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1941 in Elnora to the late Rollie and Jessie (Walls) Byrer. She attended Elnora High School, and was a member of Plainville Christian Church and The Red Hat Society. She and hers husband Richard lived in Indianapolis for forty five years before moving to Plainville in 2001. Betty's passion was being a homemaker for her family. Betty loved children, and this was evidenced by the love and kindness she not only gave to her own children, but also to the 56 foster children she and her husband cared for through out their 49 years of marriage. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Plainville Christian Church with Karen McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Plainville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM till the hour of service at Plainville Christian Church.
