Stephen L. Reel age 45 of Washington passed away on Friday at the home of his sister. He was born on March 8, 1962 in Washington to Ronald and Louise (Hayes) Reel. He was 1980 graduated of Washington High School. Was a member of Harvest Community Church, Washington Son's of the American Legion, Washington Bowling Association, United State Bowling Congress, and was a life member of the Washington Eagles Lodge were he was passed president, had held ever office at lest once and held the office of Trustee ant the time of his death. Surviving are his sister, Diana Wilz of Washington; one half brother, Gary Randolph Reel of Washington; his step mother Peggy Reel of Washington; one step sister, Kim Summers of Florida; three step brothers, Jeff Bernard, Jerry Bernard and Ray Bernard all of Washington; Special friend and ex-wife, Sondra Courtney and her three children, Janna Courtney, Deborah Thombleson, and Matt Courtney all of Washington; one niece, Judy Logsdon of Virginia; two nephews, Dustin Wilz of Lafayette, and Jason Edwards of Washington NC; four great nieces and nephews Trisha Fisher and Nick Jordon of Washington, Katylin Logsdon and Triston Logsdon of Virginia; Two aunts, ...[more]

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Reel on April 16, 1986, his father Ronald Reel on December 20, 1992. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Harvest Community Church with Pastor Maury Brenneman and Bob grabber officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery in Pike County. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at Harvest Community Church with an Eagles Memorial Service at 6:00 PM
