Marjorie "Kay Raymann" Kocher, age 75, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 6:05 p.m. at Washington Nursing Center. Kay was born April 15, 1939 in Washington, IN to Ernest and Earldean (Wilson) Smith. She received her GED and Cosmetology License, most recently managed Sally''s Beauty Supply. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Kay was the receipient of the Kenneth Talley Residence Council Award and the Valentine Queen at Washington Nursing Center. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, bingo and playing cards. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father James Koressel as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John''s Cemetery.
