Leonard A. Bradley age 84 of Washington passed away on Saturday at 11:45 AM at Washington Nursing Center He was born on December 19, 1923 in Montgomery to James 'Gus' and Anna (Brewer) Bradley. He was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was recipient of the Brute Society Award from the Diocese of Evansville. He worked for McCord Corporation and later for Daviess County Landfill from were he retired. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Ruth (Kilps) Bradley; one son Steve Bradley of Washington ; six daughters and sons in-law, Mary and Mark Hedge of Washington, Ann Ashmore of Vincennes, Jane and Edward Long of Greenwood, Paula and Mark Lawson of Ellettsville, Joan and Carmin Schnarr of Vincennes, and Lisa and Dale Liles of Solsberry; five brothers and sisters in-law, Ralph and Nina Bradley of Carmel, John and Dorothy Mae Bradley of Indianapolis, Don and Virginia Bradley of Washington, Dick and Donna Bradley of Washington, and Gary and Beverly Bradley of Washington; four sisters, Ann Gartner of Princeton, Catherine Paolucci of Indianapolis, Theresa Case of Flat Rock, Illinois, and Louise Wedge of Kentucky; twenty five grandchildren; and n...[more]

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Bradley and John Bradley; one daughter Carolyn Christ; two brothers, James Bradley and Francis Bradley; and two sisters, Bernadette Klingle, and Cecilia Bradley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Leo Kiesel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with a wake service at 4 PM. Memorial donation may be made to Washington Catholic Education Endowment at P.O.
