Richard L. "Dick" Wininger age 71 of Washington passed away on Monday at 5:26 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born January 20, 1936 in Washington he was the son of Arthur and Blanch (Wilson) Wininger. He attended Montgomery High School, retired from D F Crane Construction, and was a flight instructor. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles, and the International Labors Union #561. He loved building and flying ultra light planes and restoring antique cars and tractors. Surviving is his wife, Jackie (Petty) Wininger, whom he married October 17, 1959; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Alan Wininger, Matt Wininger, and Artie and Melody Wininger all of Washington; four brothers, Robert Wininger and Phillip Wininger both of Washington, Randy Wininger of California, and Bruce Wininger of Florida; three sisters, Patty Troutman, Susie Russell, and Sarah Guy all of Washington; three grandchildren, Zachary Wininger, Lauren Wininger, and Bailey Wininger all of Washington, and his mother-in-law, Opal Petty of Emison.
