Geoffery H Price

Geoffery H. Price, age 90, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at 12:44 p.m. at Eastgate Manor Nursing Center. He was born November 11, 1924 to Dicie (Smith) and Lester Price. Geoffrey graduated from Montgomery High School in 1943 and was a US Marine Veteran. He served in the South Pacific during World War II. He married Doris Jones June 20, 1948. He retired from Hoefling Truck & Tractor where he worked for almost 50 years. He was a past member of the American Legion and Indiana Implement Dealers Association. He belonged to the First Christian Church. Geoffery enjoyed golf and basketball. Geoffery is survived by his wife Doris Price; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Becky Price of Washington; and daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and David Frette of Washington; five grandchildren; Trisha (Troy) Clawson, Brian ( Laura) Frette, Kevin (Kacey) Frette, Cory Price and Kyle Price; and four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Evan, Drew and Olivia. He was preceded in death by brothers Art Price and Ira Price. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 6 pm Sunday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
