Harold Vincent

Harold E. Vincent, age 65, of Washington, passed away at 2:50PM on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was born on June 27, 1946 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Bradley and Ruby (Beaty) Vincent. He was a graduate of Straughn High School in Straughn, Indiana and was a US veteran of the United States Air Force. He had been employed with Gless Brothers Quest Liner. He is survived by his wife, Gretna (Dougherty) Vincent whom he married on January 13, 1979; two daughters and sons in-law, Kristianna and Ken Walker of Terre Haute, and Kassandra and Steve Whidden of LaBelle, Florida; two sons, Kristopher Vincent of Indianapolis and Kenyon Vincent of Ferdinand; four brothers, Bill Vincent of Virginia, Bob Vincent of Indianapolis, David Vincent of New Castle, and Weldon Vincent of Wilkinson; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Nellie Marie Vincent, Mary Jane Conley, and Mildred Wilson. Funeral services was on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Cornettsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Talbott and Rev. Hollis Huber officiating.
