Stephen Howard

Stephen W. Howard. Age 67 of Washington, passed away at 12:15PM on Wednesday at Prairie Village Nursing Home. He was born on November 15, 1944 in Washington to Wayne and Dorothy (Eskew) Howard. He was a 1964 graduate of Washington, High School. He had at Superior Steel Ball for over 30 years and retired from Washington City Sanitation Department. He was a member of Washington Sons of the American Legion, Sons of the VFW, Eagles Lodge, and the Knights of Columbus. Steve loved spending time with family and his dog Heidi. He is survived by two sons, Brian Howard and his fiance, Linda Ward of Springfield, Illinois and Jeffrey Howard and his fiance Debbie DiMarzo of Palm City, Florida; one sister Linda Whiddon of Woodland, Ga.; grandchildren, Brittani Howard , Erika Howard and Chelsea Hayes; and friend, Georgia Howard of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Rick Howard. Funeral services was be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating.Burial was in St. John Cemetery Visitation will be from 4 to8 PM with an Eagles Memorial service at 6 PM on Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
