Donald D. Miller

Donald D. Miller age 80 of Washington passed away on Friday at 6:22 PM at Daviess Community Hospital. He was born on June 13, 1927 in Washington to Austin and Bessie Miller. He was a US Army Veteran and US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He had retired from Bryant Chevrolet as a mechanic. He was certified in heating and air conditioning, had a certificate for television and electronic repair, and a certificate in drafting. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Drodge) Miller whom he married on April 4th 1953; one daughter and son in-law, Susan and Arthur Wininger of Martinsville; three sons and daughters in-law, Michael Miller of Washington, David and Cathy Miller of Washington, and Steve and Debbie Miller of Martinsville; one brother Austin Frank Miller of Glendale, Az.; eight grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens with Military graveside rites will be conducted by Washington American Legion and VFW.
