Barbara Ruth Brown

Barbara Ruth Brown age 60, passed away July 1, 2014 in her home in La Follette, Tennessee . She was born on November 18, 1953 in Washington to Charles W. and Ruth (Weintraut) Brown. She was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and was retired from Crane as a Contract Specialist. She was an active member of the Catholic Church and was an avid gardener and basket weaver. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Brown of Washington; and one sister Brenda (Dean) Sobecki of Washington. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Corning.
