Eleanor 'Jeanette' Bullock, age 86, of Cannelburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2012, at her home with her family by her side. Jeanette was born on November 16, 1926 in Daviess County to Alton and Evelyn (White) Showalter. She married Robert C. Bullock on April 7,1945, they were married 67 years and raised six children. Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Alter Society, and Daughters of Isabella. She also enjoyed gardening and canning. Jeanette is survived by her husband Robert 'Bob' Bullock; six children, Gary (Phyllis) Bullock of Cannelburg, Nancy Gehl of California, Charlene (Jim) Meyers of Ohio, Philip (Sylvia) of Jasper, Sharon (John Warner) McCord of Florida, and Donna (Dan) Watson of California; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Rosemary (Louis) Healy of Kokomo, Kenny Showalter of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 00 AM on Friday at All Saints Catholic Church in Cannelburg with Father James Koessel and Father Joseph Erbacher as co-celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 to 8 PM with a rosary at 3 PM at All Saints Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are be handled by Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington. Jeanette's family wish to thank Southern Care Hospice of Evansville and caregivers, who assisted and supported them during her last months.
