Marjorie Ann (Moore) Carrico, age 62 of Washington passed away at 1:54 PM at her home. She was born on November 15, 1951 in Washington to Russell Tullis Moore and Norma Jean Moore. She graduated in 1969 from Barr-Reeve High School and she also graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor''s Degree in Elementary Education. She retired in 2013 from Washington Community School Corporation. Marjorie was a member of the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Ladies of the Moose, Washington Eagles, Indiana State Teachers Association, and Indiana Bow Hunters. She enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family, friends and others. She is survived by one daughter and son in-law, Alicia and Chris, Riester of Washington; one son, James Carrico Jr.; her mother, Norma Jean Moore of Washington; four grandchildren, Caleb James Carrico Haven Grace Carrico, Caitlyn Marie Riester, and Logan Christopher Riester; one sister, Claudia (Kim) Murray of Washington; two brothers, Dwight (Bonnie) Moore of Washington and Chuck (Nerrisa) Moore of Rising Sun; and a special friend, Jerry Johnson. ervice with liturgy of the word will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Deacon Dennis Hilderbrand officiating. Memorial donation may be given to Washington Community School Corporation designated for Just Say No Program.
