Carol Sue Mangin

Carol Sue Mangin, age 73 of Washington, passed away at 5:04 AM on Monday at the home of her daughter in Jasper. She was born on May 22, 1939 in Washington to Ernest and Mary 'Frankie' (Patterson) Wilson. She was a 1957 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She was retired from Tokeim Industries. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She loved reading, doing cross word puzzles, and volunteering at the Washington St. Vincent DePaul. She is survived by two daughters and sons in-law, Renee and Allan Hentrup of Jasper and Jamie and Paul Petty of Palm Bay, Florida; two grandsons, Alex James Hentrup of Jasper and Tyler Austin Petty of Palm Bay Florida; one sister and brother in-law, Sandy and Mike Queen of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Mangin on December 5, 2008, whom she had married on December 31, 1961. She also was preceded by one son, Troy James Mangin; and her parents. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at Our Lady of Hope Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
