was very hard for him. Beetle hadn't felt good the summer and fall of 2013. In November, after several tests, he was diagnosed with metastisized lung cancer. He was put on hospice care at home. On Tuesday, January 14th, he was taken to the Windom Hospital and Thursday, January 16th he was taken to the Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom. He went to be with the Lord early Monday morning, January 20th. He leaves behind his wife, Karen Christensen of Windom; son, Shane (Skeeter) Schultz of Windom; granddaughter, Nicole Schultz of Allendale, MI; cats, Sammy and Snoopy; brother, Roger Christensen and his wife, Pat, of Farmington; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and many cousins. Philip was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Curtiss and Arlan Christensen. Blessed be the memory of Beetle. May he rest in peace.
